We’ve been very busy working on the next version of the Scribe word processor. Well that’s not entirely true now. We have expanded the feature set of Scribe to include all the default features in a standard office suite. You have the word processor, mind mapping and research tools you had in Scribe, plus we have now introduced a spreadsheet, presentation tool, drawing and image capture tools and a corkboard style note tool and document review.

Like cars, businesses can be run at different speeds. Which speed the business runs depends on the industry, the company's mission and the preferred speed of the management. A slow business may take 3 days to respond to a customer's inquiry and be happy with it. A fast company may take 3 hours and consider that slow. A heavy equipment manufacturer would take months to correct a mistake in the equipment while a restaurant would take hours or at the most a day to correct a dish. It’s all subjective and depends on various factors.

How people like to be helped depends on the circumstances in which they are looking for help. If you have free time or are specifically looking to learn something, you probably wouldn't mind reading the manual or sitting through a training video. But if you are working on something or short on time, having to look for help would be an annoying distraction and you'd want to minimize the time spent as much as possible.

Definitely not this

Do you know how many tools Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010 has on its default view? Over fifty. Imagine fifty tools lying on your desk as you are trying to write something. While writing your document, it is unlikely you would be able to use all, or even ten percent, of them. But, there they are distracting you and using writing space.

More tools than your grandpa had
